Welcome to Our Voice Edited on 19 August 2007
Welcome to Our Voice, Grampian disAbility Advocacy Association's initiative to give a voice, and give more choices, to people with a disability and their carers in our region.
Take a minute to watch the introductory video from our Co-ordinator Debbie Verdon. This is just the first you'll hear from her and the rest of the team over the coming months. But this site isn't just about us speaking to you, we want to hear back from you. About your issues, your needs and your stories.
Something in the news, in the air, or in your community a problem? Let's talk.
We want you to join us here and provide ideas and inspiration so we can grow the community together. We'll continue to provide our core advocacy services but want to use the web as a focal point for letting you, our community, inspire and empower each other.
So not only will you be able to find out about what we do and hear the stories of others in your community, but we'll also provide local news (headlines), links and colour (photos from around the region) so you can think of us as your entry point to the community we\'re fostering together.
And we're not just bringing your community to this little corner of the web, you can also find us, and yourselves on the photo-sharing site Flickr (external link). Join us there and share your photos of the region and your lives.
Because it's Our Voice.
