Employment Edited on 17 March 2009

If someone has refused to employ you because of a disability, or denied you access to a training programme, you are protected by law.

The Equal Opportunity Act covers discrimination in employment - whether you're working on salary or as an independent contractor.

Other examples of discrimination in employment range from unfair interview questions to refusing or limiting access to opportunities for promotion, transfer or other employment benefits.
